We have decided it might be fun and of some benefit to professional SketchUp users to have this site as a form of on-line magazine with easily accessible up to date content dealing with different aspects of SketchUp post processing and much of the software used in these processes. We also would like to do some regular feature articles on some of the highly skilled professionals working with SketchUp showcasing their post-processing work and techniques. We aim to promote, enhance and breathe new life into the global creative sector. Celebrating, supporting and teaching creative minds from around the world.

Google SketchUp is an excellent 3D modeling program designed for architects, civil engineers,  filmmakers, game developers, and related professions. Google SketchUp also includes features to facilitate the placement of models in Google Earth.

Unlike some high end industry tools, where time is spent working out complicated problems, Google SketchUp allows us to focus primarily on the design. That is probably the reason why every day more and more professionals are adopting SketchUp as one of their primary modeling applications.

We have created this site primarily to try and show the creative potential of SketchUp. We will demonstrate its various uses portraying the best creative professionals who show how it is possible, with only little additional effort by adopting clever and original styles and techniques, to achieve a predictable range of fascinating and astonishing results. From watercolor hand techniques to photo-real renderings, thus covering every phase of the presentation process. We hope you will spend some time with us and enjoy reading SketchUp Artists and hopefully learn new skills and pick up inspirational ideas to use in your own projects in the future.

If you have some interesting ideas, comments, suggestions or content that you think would benefit other SketchUp users out there we certainly would like to hear from you.

Mateo and James

I love the site and the wealth of information you are providing. I would like to request that the tutorials be offered in PDF format so we can download them to review at a later time.

    Great work!
